This is Die Drei Kantoren’s second CD, consisting of Chazzanut, Yiddish and Chasidic melodies, Israeli songs, and Sepharadic piyutim – all in original arrangements. We are happy to feature some wonderful guest artists who made this second album even richer in sound and inspiration. Two of the pieces in this album – Pitchu Li and Elu Dvarim – were composed especially for us by our very own Ido Ben-Gal and Assaf Levitin. Our dozens of concerts in Jewish communities and in festivals in Germany and abroad motivated us to get back into the recording studio as quickly as possible. For this we are very thankful.

lyrics
They call me Dark Girl, my skin is clear and soft.
The heat of the sizzling sun gave me my darkness.
Dark Girl, how beautiful you are,
Fire burns in your eyes, my heart is all yours.
Dark Girl, so call me all the mariners.
If they should call me one more time, I will go again with them.
Dark Girl, how beautiful you are,
Fire burns in your eyes, my heart is all yours.
Dark Girl, so calls me the son of a reigning king,
If he should call me one more time, I will go with him.
Dark Girl, how beautiful you are,
Fire burns in your eyes, my heart is all yours.
